Date: 16 November 2011
Category: Retail
Henderson Global Investors has appointed Jones Lang LaSalle's retail management and leasing team to manage Tuna Park shopping centre in Sweden. The contract started in October this year and comprises both management and leasing.

Henderson acquired Tuna Park from Swedish insurer Alecta in September.

Tuna Park was opened in 2004 and with its 44,000 m2 of retail facilities is one of the largest shopping centres in the Mälardalen region. JLL will manage the shopping centre section, which comprises 56 retail units.

In addition to property management, JLL will also supervise the leasing and renegotiation of existing retail spaces. There are currently a limited number of vacant spaces and all leases are up for renegotiation in the coming three years.
