Category: Retail
Polish listed developers Globe Trade Centre and Polnord have appointed Jones Lang LaSalle as exclusive agent in the commercialisation of the Galeria Wilanów shopping centre in Warsaw's Wilanów district.

After completion in 2014, Galeria Wilanów will provide 76,600 m2 of Gross Lettable Area accommodating 270 retail and service units, a supermarket, a multiplex cinema, fitness facilities and children's entertainment features. The project will also offer 2,700 car spaces.

Designed by architecture studios, APA Wojciechowski and Tzur Architects & Town Planners, Galeria Wilanów will be built in compliance with the standards defined by the US GreenBuilding Council, enabling it to meet the requirements for LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certification.

'The 7.5 ha site in the Wilanów district is one of the last key strategic sites in Warsaw that can support a high-quality retail development of this nature,' said John Duckworth, managing director at Jones Lang LaSalle Poland.
