RICS hosts MIPIM conference on dense cities
Date: 7 March 2011
Category: MIPIM
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is co-hosting a conference at MIPIM on Tuesday entitled 'Dense Cities: For better or for worse? How can risks be minimised and benefits maximised?'. With just over half the world's population living in urban areas and that percentage expected to rise to 70% by 2050, city leaders and policymakers are being forced to address the issue of city density and urban sprawl in their long-term spatial planning.

The conference will be held on 8 March at 16.30-17.30 in the Hoban room, Level 3
