Category: Office
Helsinki-listed construction group Lemminkäinen has announced plans to develop two new office buildings at Töölönlahti in downtown Helsinki on behalf of its client, Etera Mutual Pension Insurance Company.

The new properties will have 30,000 m2 of total gross floor area and will total over EUR 100 mln in value.

Construction work will begin in the spring of 2012, with completion scheduled for the spring of 2014.

Lemminkäinen will also be responsible for leasing the finished premises, with one of the assets already being let in full to KPMG. Negotiations are underway on the future occupants of the other asset, it added.

Lemminkäinen is already developing an office building for Etera in the same area. Designed by JKMM Architects, the property will be delivered to its tenant, Alma Media, during 2012.
