Leisure and infrastructure dominate September deals

The biggest European property deals recorded across the first three weeks of September were in the infrastructure and leisure sectors, as office and retail transactions took a hit.

The largest transaction recorded by PropertyEU Research was the Commerz Real-led acquisition of a majority stake in German energy giant RWE's power grid for EUR 700 mln.

September also saw several hotels change hands, with Qatari investment firm Al Faisal securing another large hotel transaction in London.
