Laura Thompson joins C&W's UK occupier management team

Real estate adviser Cushman & Wakefield has appointed, Laura Thomson, as a partner and head of corporate occupier management for the UK within its Corporate Occupier & Investor Services team (CIS).

Thomson moves to Cushman & Wakefield from DTZ where she was Director of Corporate Real Estate management covering the North West. Prior to DTZ, she worked at Donaldsons and before that, at Inter - IKEA.

Thomson will be responsible for developing and growing Cushman & Wakefield’s national occupier management business across the UK. This latest appointment is part of an ongoing strategic recruitment initiative across Cushman & Wakefield in line with the firm’s five-year strategic growth plan.

Recent senior appointments within Cushman & Wakefield’s EMEA CIS team this year include; Simon Ward, partner in EMEA Account management who joined from Barclays; Andrew Smart, new head of facilities management who joined from MACE; Markus Reinert, head of Asset Management and Investor services who joined from JLL; James Crisp, Account management partner from Capita Symonds and Dean Maszlin, partner in London property management from CBRE.
