Date: 24 May 2011
Category: Retail
Polish listed property group Echo Investment has received the building permit for the Outlet Park Szczecin, which will be the first outlet centre with an entertainment section in the West Pomeranian region of Poland.

The retail outlet will be developed next to an existing shopping centre in the Prawobrzeże district. It will have 24,000 m2 of gross lettable area with 70 units to be developed in two stages. It will include a multi-screen Helios cinema, a supermarket and an electronics shop.

'The commercialization process is progressing very smoothly, nearly 50% of the area has been leased so far. There are more negotiations pending, mostly with companies which are interested in outlets offering large areas,' said Tomasz Domoń, leasing manager of Echo Investment's shopping centre activities.

CBRE is responsible for marketing alongside Echo Investment.

Phase I is planned to be delivered by the first quarter of 2012.
