Category: Retail
Swedish retail property company KF Fastigheter has bought the Årdret 3 and Välten 10 retail assets in Lund, Southern Sweden, from developer Paulssons Group. The transaction price amounts to SEK 240 mln (EUR 26 mln).

The newly-built assets offer roughly 9,500 m2 of retail space in the Mobilia part of the city.

The transaction, which was first agreed in September 2009, also envisages the sale by KF of the Brunius 16 in central Lund to Paulssons.

'Mobilia is the best commercial location in Lund. With this acquisition we are strengthening our position in southern Sweden, entirely in accordance with our property strategy,' said Bernt-Olof Gustavsson, president of KF Fastigheter. The company focuses on retail assets and manages a 500,000-m2 portfolio in the country valued at SEK 7 bn.

Major tenants in the assets are Coop Forum, Systembolaget, Flügger färg, Kronans Droghandel and Lunds Radio & TV.
