IVG obtains LEED certification for office projects

IVG Immobilien AG has obtained LEED Silver, Gold, and Platinum awards from the US Green Building Council for three of the company's most recently completed project developments in Germany. The Bonn-based company has also obtained a LEED-Certificate for its Infopark E in Budapest, the first ever LEED certificate granted for a building in Hungary.

IVG obtained a LEED Platinum certificate for its An den Brücken project development in Munich. The adjacent and slightly bigger part was awardedLEED Gold. Meanwhile IVG´s Artquadrat in Bonn is the first new building project in Europe to be awarded LEED Silver. The property is let to a subsidiary of
Deutsche Telekom.

The three office buildings are included in the IVG Premium Green Fund, the company's first green special real estate fund with an investment volume of EUR 300 mln. Launched in spring 2010 and funded by five institutional investors, the fund also comprises two other properties (Hackesches Quartier in Berlin and Frankfurt Central next to Frankfurt main station) which are due to receive LEED certification.
