Listed Austrian property group Immofinanz has announced the opening of its Maritimo shopping centre in Constanta, Romania.

The mall opened 99%-let this week, representing a total investment of some EUR 100 mln. It offers around 50,000 m2 of retail space across 130 shops.

The scheme is anchored by a 16,000-m2 Auchan Hypermarket, with other retailers including Peek & Cloppenburg, C&A, H&M and New Yorker. The Inditex Group has also leased 4,500 m2 of space for its six fashion brands - Zara, Bershka, Pull&Bear, Stradivarius, Oysho and Massimo Dutti. The mall also includes an eight-screen Cinema City due to open in the spring.

The opening follows the announcement two weeks ago that Immofinanz had completed the extension of the Silesia City Center in Poland.
