Immobel sells Belgian project for EUR 34m

Belgian listed real estate developer Immobel has announced the sale of the Chateau Rempart office project located in the Walloon city of Tournai, 85 km south-west of Brussels. The investment volume comes to EUR 34 mln.

The buyers are a private investor and a subsidiary of the Caisse d' Epargne Nord France Europe.

The development consists of three phases totalling nearly 14,000 m2 of office accommodation. The first two phases are completed and are leased to Régie des Bâtiments (the Belgian Buildings Agency) on behalf of the Federal Public Service Finances. The third phase is under construction, with completion expected in mid-2012. This third phase is also leased to Régie des Bâtiments on behalf of the Federal Public Service Justice.
