UK investors purchase Barcelona's Hotel Palace for EUR 68m

A group of UK private investors has bought the historic Palace Hotel in Barcelona from Spanish hotel chain Husa for EUR 68 mln. The buyers were represented by the company Aginyo.

Husa will continue to operate the four-star hotel, which is located at Gran Vía. The transaction was carried out as a share deal involving Inmobiliaria Sarasate.

The 125-room hotel is understood to have been put on the market earlier this year along with Husa's President Park, in Brussels and Imperial Tarraco, in Tarragona, Spain.

Husa Hoteles operates a total of 120 hotels in Spain, Germany, Turkey, Argentina, Belgium, Morroco and Andorra.
