HSBC fund acquires Bristol mall for EUR 58m

HSBC European Active Real Estate Trust has exchanged contracts with the Mall Fund to acquire the Galleries Shopping Centre Bristol in the UK for £50.2 mln (EUR 58.5 mln).

The transactions was announced by London-listed Capital & Regional on 24 December. Capital & Regional has an interest of 16.7% in the Mall Fund.

The sale price reflects a premium to valuation at end-September 2010.
