CBRE, JLL agree global advisory mandates with HSBC

CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) and Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) have been appointed by HSBC to serve as its global strategic property portfolio manager and regional transaction partners.

CBRE will serve as strategic partner in Europe while CBRE and JLL will act together as HSBC's strategic partners in the Asia Pacific, the Americas and Middle East regions.

HSBC's global property portfolio comprises more than 7,500 properties totalling approximately 72 million sq ft (6.7 million m2) and located in 87 countries.

This appointment consolidates CBRE's existing relationship with HSBC across numerous locations worldwide. In the EMEA region, CBRE is already responsible for integrated transaction and portfolio management in the UK and portfolio management in France.

JLL has been a real estate advisor to HSBC in North America since 1998.
