AEW appoints property manager for Euroffice assets

Investment manager AEW Europe has appointed HIH Property Management to manage German assets owned by its Euroffice fund.

The fund's six German office buildings are located in Munich, Frankfurt, Offenbach, Düsseldorf and Hamburg. The portfolio provides 110,000 m2 of rental area.

From July 2012, the asset manager will gradually take responsibility for the entire commercial and technical management of the assets. The contract runs for two years.

HPM has been providing services for two of AEW Europe's German schemes - Handelsblattgebäu-de in Düsseldorf and Neuer Hühnerposten in Hamburg - since 2006.
