International real estate firm Hines has opened an office in Dublin to target real estate and development opportunities emerging from the re-structuring of the Irish banking and real estate sector.

The firm is targeting single asset acquisitions, pooled asset acquisitions, completion financing for stalled projects, portfolio workouts and partnerships with owners and their banks.

‘The restructuring of the Irish real estate industry over the next few years will take considerable resources and capital to bring it back to a stable market again,’ said Hines Ireland Managing Director Brian Moran.
