HGI sells Telstar House for EUR 116m

Henderson Global Investors has agreed the sale of Telstar House, Eastbourne Terrace in London for £97 mln (EUR 116 mln), reflecting a net initial yield of 5.1%. The property is let to Rio Tinto European Holdings and has been sold to a private Jersey company.

Andrew Creighton, director at Henderson Global Investors, said: 'This transaction represents a key part of our investment strategy and is consistent with our wider business plan. The proceeds from the sale will be reinvested within the UK market, where we remain confident on the outlook for the year ahead.'

Savills advised Henderson and Fineman Ross acted for the buyer.
