Goodman to develop warehouse in Leipzig

Goodman Group has signed a deal with DB Schenker Logistics for a 63,000 m2 pre-committed warehouse development in Leipzig, Germany. Schenker Deutschland will provide logistics services for BMW at the new facility and is expected to create up to 600 new jobs when it is fully operational. Upon completion the project will represent an investment value of over EUR 33 mln.

The facility will be purpose built for automotive logistics and have a total lettable area of approximately 81,000 m2. Handover will take place over a phased period between July and November 2011.
