Listed global industrial property group Goodman has appointed Kristof Verstraeten as commercial director for its Continental European operations. The appointment forms part of a major reorganisation of Goodman's European management team which the company says is driven by the growth of its European business, both in terms of assets under management and volume of development projects.
Listed global industrial property group Goodman has appointed Kristof Verstraeten as commercial director for its Continental European operations. The appointment forms part of a major reorganisation of Goodman's European management team which the company says is driven by the growth of its European business, both in terms of assets under management and volume of development projects.
Verstraeten joined Goodman in 2007 as director of capital transactions and regional director for Germany. In his new position he will continue to report to Danny Peeters, CEO of Goodman Continental Europe.
In other changes to the senior management team, Patricia Vande Vyvere will become director of asset management, replacing Rob Salerno who will move to an asset management role for Goodman’s UK logistics business. Dominiek van Oost becomes chief operating officer and general counsel and has responsibility for legal affairs and human resources as well as marketing and IT departments.
Goodman's assets under management increased by 33% to EUR 2.1 bn in 2011 and are forecast to rise to at least EUR 2.4 bn by end-2012. The companly was named as the number one developer in Europe in the March edition of PropertyEU magazine, based on completed projects in square metres from 2009 to 2011. Goodman had 1.1 million m2 (GLA) of completed projects over the period.
