Goebel to head German business at Berlin Hyp/LBB

Leonhard Goebel will become the new head of sales for real estate financing at Berlin Hyp and LBB's German business from January 2012.

The role will encompass responsibility for the company's offices in Berlin and across Germany, as well as for the departments taking care of housing companies and special financing/underwriting.

Goebel has held a range of management positions in the areas of sales and loans at organisations such as Nord/LB, AHBR and Münchener Hypothekenbank. His latest role was as head of real estate Europe at Bank of Scotland in Frankfurt.

Berlin Hyp and Landesbank Berlin jointly focus their sales activities on business with investors, housing companies, real estate funds, asset managers and selected property developers. Their business is concentrated in Germany’s economically powerful urban centres and selected international markets, with offices in Amsterdam, London, Paris, Prague and Warsaw.
