French state bank Caisse des Depots is providing a EUR 105 mln loan to the public management body of La Defense Seine Arche, known as Epadesa, for the further development and regeneration of the La Defense business district of Paris.

The financing will enable Epadesa to buy large portions of land in the new districts of Nanterre, Les Groues and Les Bords de Seine, near La Defense, Epadesa said in a statement. The sites encompass over 100 hectares of land, including a 47-hectare former railway area at Les Groues.

As part of the deal, Epadesa is committing to redevelop at least 25% of the space in social housing.
