First tenant moves into Segro's SBU in Lodz
Date: 13 October 2011
Category: Leasing
ABB, part of the world’s leading power and automation technology group, has become the first tenant at Segro’s small business unit (SBU) project located within Tulipan Park in the Polish city of Lodz.

The company leased over 1,800 m2 of high quality and flexible business space including warehouse, office and social facilities. The transaction was facilitated by real estate adviser Axi Immo.

A European flexible business space specialist, Segro was one of the first developers to introduce the SBU concept to the local market. Dedicated to clients searching for highly flexible business space, small business units are modern business centres offering excellent solutions to accommodate office and small warehouse or light production facilities. The minimal units to rent start from several hundred square metres. By comparison, the minimal leasable space within traditional big box warehouses is around 2,500 m2.

Segro’s SBU investment in Lodz is located on a 6.7 hectare site within Tulipan Park logistic centre. The project provides 3,400 m2 of modern business space.
