Category: Leasing deal
French office-focused Siic Foncière des Régions (FdR) has announced the leasing of a total of 23,000 m2 of office space in the Carré Suffren office scheme to insurance group AON, the French Ministry of Education and to Institut Français.

Carré Suffren, located on the foot of the Eiffel Tower in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, is now almost fully let with just 1,500 m2 of space remaining to lease. The average firm lease length is around 10 years, with 12 years for AON and seven years for the Ministry of Education and Institut Français. On a full-year basis, the total rent amounts to over EUR 13 mln, FdR said.

The building, which was purchased in partnership with Predica (40%) in November 2004, has been completely restructured and delivered at the end of 2009. CBRE, C&W and BNP Paribas Immobilier were the letting agents.

'The success of the rental offer confirms the excellent position of the building on the Left Bank market. End-users have opted for its relevant design which offers modularity and flexibility, with an extensive range of division and layout options,' said Olivier Estève, managing director for Offices at FdR.
