Foncière des Régions (FdR) said on Monday that it has strengthened its capital by nearly EUR 200 mln after seeing nearly 100% of its outstanding equity warrants exercised. The warrants, with a subscription period covering the entire year 2010, were awarded to FdR shareholders at end-2009 on a ratio of one equity warrant for each FdR share.

The allocation was part of FdR's all-share acquisition in October 2009 of a portfolio of five office buildings from insurance groups Groupama and Predica for EUR 267 mln. Over 3 million new shares were issued through the operation, bringing the total number of FdR shares to 55 million.

FdR is a French office-focused real estate group with around EUR 8.6 bn of property assets.
