Keen to expand Rzeszów mall in Poland
Date: 29 June 2011
Category: Retail
Keen Property Partners Retail (KPP Retail) has received a building permit to connect Rzeszów Plaza shopping centre to the adjacent E.Leclerc hypermarket. The work will increase the retail space at the shopping centre in south-eastern Poland by 5,000 m2 to 19,500 m2.

Rzeszów Plaza and the hypermarket will be connected by a glass-covered passageway with a roof, in which retail space will also be provided. There will be 15 new stores, and additional 500 parking spaces in a new five-storey car park. Combined with the hypermarket's car park, there will be a total of 1,360 parking spaces.

Work on the expansion started in February 2011 and the opening of the new part of Rzeszów Plaza is planned for October 2011. About EUR 13 mln has been invested in the expansion of Rzeszów Plaza.

The shopping centre opened in November 2005.
