American retailer Ethan Allen International is taking a lease on a building on the Place du Grand Sablon 37 in Brussels for its first flagship store in Europe.
The letting was arranged by Jones Lang LaSalle's retail team in Belgium. JLL acted for the building owner Groupe Gérald Hibert (GH).
The 1,400 m² building was previously let to Emporio Armani, which is moving towards the Boulevard de Waterloo 47, previously let to La Perla.
Ethan Allen offers a range of furniture and decorative accessories through more than 300 stores in the US and more than 30 stores in Canada, China, Japan, Kuwait, Taiwan, UAE, South Korea and Thailand.
The brand celebrated its 80th anniversary this year.
Ethan Allen is planning further expansion in Belgium with Jones Lang LaSalle, in Antwerp.
