DIC Group appoints new CFO

Deutsche Immobilien Chancen Group (DIC Group) has announced the appointment of Sonja Wärntges as new Chief Financial Officer, replacing Van Meenen who is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities.

Wärntges (44) joined the board in September from fashion group C&A, where she was head of finance at the Duesseldorf office.

In addition, the company is strengthening its management board with the addition of Kai M. Dreesbeimdiek (46), who will be responsible for the project development activities together with managing director Stefan Blümm Dreesbeimdiek.

DIC Group is the majority owner of listed firm DIC Asset, which focuses on development and opportunistic investments.
