Destrée named partner at DLA Piper

Charles Destrée has been named a partner at DLA Piper in the Netherlands. Destrée has a wealth of experience in the field of real estate finance and he will focus primarily on this area of expertise at DLA Piper.

Destrée joins the firm Piper from ING, where in 2005 he started as head of the Legal Department of ING Real Estate Finance and later worked as General Counsel at ING Real Estate Investment Management (REIM). Before that he worked at various law firms in the Netherlands, Australia and Indonesia.

In the Finance & Projects practice group combined with the Real Estate Practice group, Destrée will represent and advise clients on a broad range of transactions in the area of real estate finance and project financing, which will further expand and strengthen DLA Piper's real estate practice.
