Deka mandates CBRE to manage French assets

Deka Immobilien has appointed CB Richard Ellis to manage half of its portfolio s in France. The international property services group will manage 12 office, retail and logistics buildings which cover a total of 163,591 m2.

Most of the properties are located in and around Paris. The portfolio includes Le Centorial office building offering 34,500 m2 in the heart of Paris as well as the EQWater building providing 16,000 m2 of sustainable office space.

'We already manage portfolios in a number of countries for Deka Immobilien and this will further strengthen our relationship,' said Nigel Biggs, head of European Property & Asset Management, CBRE. 'Effective management plays an important part in maximizing returns on investments and we look forward to working with Deka Immobilien to achieve this goal.'

CBRE's Property & Asset Management team has managed properties in Austria, Spain and the UK for Deka.
