Deka buys office complex in The Hague for EUR 49m

Deka Immobilien has acquired the NWO office complex in the centre of The Hague for about EUR 49 mln for its open-ended property fund, WestInvest InterSelect. The property comprises two buildings with a total lettable space of around 18,700 m2 and 233 parking spaces. The seller is ASR Property Fund, a subsidiary of insurance services provider ASR Nederland.

Law firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek advised Deka and Cushman & Wakefield in Amsterdam acted as intermediary between ASR and Deka.

The building complex was constructed in 2001 and 2005 and is fully let to long-term tenants. The national organisation for scientific research (NWO) is the main tenant.
