Prupim seals major UK out-of-town letting
Date: 19 August 2009
Category: Retail
UK real estate property investment manager Prupim has announced one of the biggest out of town lettings in the UK of 2009 at Cribbs Causeway Retail Park.
The park is located on the M5, north of Bristol.

Prupim and Capital Shopping Centres, who jointly own the retail park, agreed to let units 1-4, comprising 6,500 m2, to DSG Retail for 15 years. DSG Retail will use the space for a Currys Megastore.

'This new letting marks the beginning of a phase of master planning for the retail park, as the existing leases approach expiry. It also reinforces Cribbs Causeway Retail Park as one of the most well-positioned out-of-town retail parks in the south west,' said Tim Hayns, director of Asset Management at Prupim.

The space being occupied by a Currys Megastore is expected to be ready in time for trading by Christmas 2009.

The joint agents for Prupim are Hartnell Taylor Cooke and Cushman & Wakefield. Colliers CRE advised DSG Retail.
