Wing starts construction of Budapest mall

Hungarian property developer Wing has announced the start of construction for a new shopping centre in the heart of Budapest's District 12.

The Hegyvidék Shopping Centre, scheduled to open in autumn 2012, will house the largest CBA Prima supermarket in the district, offering 1,200 m2, and a large OTP Bank branch. In total, the scheme will include nearly 7,000 m2 of retail space across 45 units, 1,200 m2 of office accomodation and a two-storey underground car park with 200 parking spaces.

The centre is aiming to receive a 'Very Good' rating under BREEAM environmental standards.
