Date: 1 June 2011
Category: Fund
International property fund manager Bouwfonds has acquired three assets comprising a total of 49 apartments for SEK 90 mln (EUR 10 mln) in Sweden. Property adviser Savills acted for the vendor, Swedish private property company Collegio.

The assets are located in Barkaby and Täby in Stockholm's outskirts. Savills will also manage the properties for Bouwfonds.

The two properties in Barkaby are newly developed green buildings by Collegio, built under the BoKlok concept developed in cooperation between IKEA and Skanska.

Ulf Nilsson, CEO of Savills Sweden, commented: 'This is the third residential acquisition by Bouwfonds in Sweden and is yet another sign of the increasing interest in the Swedish residential market from foreign investors'.
