Charlie Walker joins LGP board

UK investor Legal & General Property (LGP) has announced the promotion of Charlie Walker to director and a member of the board.

LGP said that Walker has played a key role in the development and growth of the LGP platform, most recently as senior fund manager to the UK Property Income Fund, which was one of only a handful of UK property funds successfully launched in 2010.

In his new role as director, he will continue to lead the management of UK PIF, which has just successfully secured a further £100 mln of equity taking its GAV to above £400 mln, as well as support the growth of the LGP business.

LGP also announced promotions of Ross Taylor to senior transactions manager; Michael Tate to fund analysis manager and Katherine Laurenson to senior solicitor.
