CBRE Hotels sets deadline for bids on UK Hilton portfolio
Date: 17 November 2011
Category: Hotels
CBRE Hotels has set 23 November as the deadline for bids on a portfolio of three purpose-built hotels in the UK. The hotels are branded Hampton by Hilton.

The hotels, comprising a total of 241 bedrooms, are located in Braintree, Shrewsbury and Birmingham. They are amongst the first Hampton by Hilton hotels in the country, having only recently been branded in early 2010.

Hilton has aggressive expansion plans for this brand, which is currently its largest brand by number of hotels across their international portfolio.

Daniel Woodcock of CBRE Hotels said: 'Interest in the portfolio to date has been good with many buyers seeing great growth potential in the both the assets and the Hampton by Hilton brand. This after all is the perfect time in the property cycle for an investor to buy and these assets offer an investor the opportunity to create a great platform going forward.'

The portfolio is being marketed on behalf of Ian Corfield and Jane Moriarty, administrators of Osborn Securities, and are being offered to the market as a group, sub-group and individual assets.
