CBRE expands pan-Ireland retail team

Property adviser CB Richard Ellis has appointed Shane Cahir and Niamh Riney as associate directors in its new pan-Ireland Retail Team. The team's first major mandate is joint letting agent, alongside Dublin-based Bannon Commercial, as joint letting agent for the 24,000-m2 Ilac shopping mall in the centre of the Irish capital.

Cahir joins CBRE from Colliers International where he specialised in the retail sector with a particular emphasis on shopping centres and tenant representation. Prior to joining CBRE, Niamh Riney held the position of retail chartered surveyor in Savills where she was primarily responsible for large, retail projects including shopping centres and high street retail premises.
