Catella hires Aguayo for new valuation unit in Madrid

European real estate consultant Catella has appointed Carlos Aguayo to head its new real estate valuation department in Spain.

Aguayo joins from CB Richard Ellis, where he was head of Retail & Business Valuations. He spent six years at CBRE covering a range of positions in the valuation departments. Before then, he worked for IREA Real Estate.

Catella has been active in Spain since 2008, offering services ranging from property transaction advisory, cross-border transactions and assisting and suggesting financing structuring and restructuring. The Madrid office is led by Borja Márquez, former head of Investments at Savills Spain.
