Catella appoints new executive chairman

European finance group Catella has appointed Lennart Schuss to a new role as executive chairman of the board of the company's Nordic corporate finance unit.

Schuss (60), who is relinquishing his current position of vice president, will take up his new role on 1 July.

'Lennart Schuss is a born businessman possessing unique and solid experience of property transactions,' said Johan Ericsson, president of Catella. 'Over the years, he has carried out property transactions for Catella valued in excess of SEK 500 bn (EUR 54 bn). The fact that he has now chosen to focus on Catella's property business is of great benefit for our business development.'
