Carlyle sells business park near Hamburg for EUR 70m
Date: 8 March 2011
Category: Company News
Berlin-based commercial real estate company Beos has acquired the Wilhelm-Bergner-Straße business park near Hamburg from Carlyle for around EUR 70 mln. The purchase - which was financed by a loan provided by DG Hyp - is earmarked for an unnamed international investor group.

The property is currently 78%-leased and includes adjoining land plots of 100,000 m2, which are to be developed. BNP Paribas Real Estate brokered the transaction.

'Through the purchase of this business park we were able to implement the growth strategy of our investors in the Hamburg area,' said Beos' executive director Ingo Holz. Offering over 100,000 m2 of development area, the asset provides several attractive opportunities to support the growth of existing tenants as well as to allow other companies to settle in the area, Holz added.
