C&W recruits ex-DTZ director to head Italian office agency

London-based advisor Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Peter Leyburn as a partner and head of its office agency team in Italy. Leyburn moves to Cushman & Wakefield after nine years at DTZ where he was most recently a senior director and head of DTZ’s CEMEA Office Agency team and member of the CEMEA executive and management team.

He was formerly head of UK Office Agency at DTZ and prior to that, spent 14 years with Richard Ellis where he started his career. Leyburn will be based in Cushman & Wakefield’s Milan office and will oversee the office agency team in Italy as well as working closely with the firm’s pan-European office agency team on developing international business.

James Meikle who previously headed Cushman & Wakefield’s office agency team in Milan recently relocated to the firm’s London office to work within the Corporate Occupier and Investor services division.
