Date: 11 January 2012
Category: Appointment
Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Peter Leyburn as a partner and head of its Italian office agency.

Leyburn joins from DTZ where he has worked for nine years, most recently as a senior director and head of DTZ's Continental Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA) Office Agency team and member of the CEMEA executive and management team.

He was formerly head of DTZ's UK Office Agency and prior to that, spent 14 years with Richard Ellis at the beginning of his career.

Leyburn will be based in C&W's Milan office and will oversee the office agency in Italy while working closely with the group's pan-European team on developing international business. His appointment follows the relocation of James Meikle, former head of C&W's office agency team in Milan, to the firm's London office.
