Date: 14 November 2011
Category: Retail
UK private equity advisory firm Bridgehouse has appointed CBRE and Colliers International as leasing agents for the Siódemka regional shopping centre project in Elbląg, Poland.

Siódemka is a new shopping centre project including leisure facilities, restaurants, cafes and a retail park element. The scheme will offer around 67,000 m2 of lettable retail space consisting of a single-floor shopping mall (40,000 m2) and a retail park of 27,000 m2, anchored by a DIY store. Construction is expected to start in H1 2012.

CBRE will be responsible for leasing the shopping mall which will include 110 shops. Colliers International has been mandated to manage the leasing process for the retail park that will include 15 retail warehouse units. Siódemka will also be served by 1,800 parking spaces.

'Our in-depth market and feasibility studies have confirmed that there is a huge demand from a wide range of regional, national and international retailers for representation in a regional shopping centre to be constructed in Elbląg. They recognise that there is a retail gap in Elbląg and the region,' said Torsten Hartmann, director at Bridgehouse Capital.
