Schomberg apppointed to WGF supervisory board

Integrated German property company WGF has appointed real estate expert and management consultant Bärbel Schomberg to its supervisory board.

Schomberg has held various leading positions in the real estate and finance industries in the last 30 years. She is deputy president of the Zentrale Immobilienausschuss, or German Property Federation, and chairman of the board of the German real estate industry's Initiative Corporate Governance.

As chairman of the board for the real estate investment fund companies of the Commerzbank and Allianz Immobilien, she was one of the first real estate managers in Germany to push sustainability, both in terms of content and strategy. From 2003 to 2010, in her function as chairman of the board, Schomberg was responsible for the management of Aberdeen Immobilien in Frankfurt.
