Bouwfonds REIM's CEO Jean Klijnen to step down

Bouwfonds REIM's chief executive officer Jean Klijnen is stepping down as a board member of Bouwfonds REIM and as a member of the main board of directors of Rabo Real Estate Group for health reasons.

Klijnen will leave the company on December 1, 2011. His tasks will be handled internally until a definite successor has been appointed.

Klijnen started his career in real estate investment management in 1982 at civil service pension fund ABP. He then moved to ABN Amro Corporate Finance Real Estate, where he served as senior vice president. In 2000, Klijnen stood at the cradle of Bouwfonds Asset Management, today's Bouwfonds REIM, as one of the firm's founders.
