Bouwfonds REIM buys three properties for EUR 49m

Bouwfonds Real Estate Investment Management said on Monday it has acquired three properties for its open-ended European Residential Fund for a total sum of EUR 48.63 mln. The three properties are located in Berlin (Prenzlauer Berg), Hamburg (Harburg) and Stockholm (Nacka, Gubbängen and Vallentuna).

The property in Berlin was bought from a private individual and features 67 apartments, three commercial units and 44 underground parking spaces. The investment figure amounts to EUR 9.6 mln. In Hamburg, 10 individual, fully-let properties have been acquired for EUR 11.15 mln from a private family.

In Stockholm, the acquired portfolio consists of seven properties, divided across three locations. The sellers are property companies belonging to Vestigia Fastigheter AB. The investment involved amounts to EUR 27.88 mln.

The acquisitions mean that Bouwfonds European Residential Fund now has properties in Germany, France, Norway and Sweden, with an occupancy rate of about 97%.
