BNP Paribas RE appoints new head of development

BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Barbara Koreniouguine to head all its development activities as part of a major reorganisation. With an annual turnover of over EUR 1 bn, BNP Paribas' development unit encompasses the construction of over 400,000 m2 of offices and 3,000 residential units.

BNP Paribas Real Estate is combining the commercial and residential businesses in one unit to be led by Koreniouguine.

Koreniouguine is a former director of the company's commercial real estate development arm.

She also joins BNP Paribas Real Estate executive committee.

She will be assisted by vice-managing directors Pierre Sorel and Bruno Pinardwith the residential and commercial property segments respectively.

Koreniouguine joined BNP Paribas Immobilier Promotion Immobilier d'Entreprise as vice managing-director in June 2008. She previously worked for Icade where she held the position of head of development of the Ile-de-France region.
