BNP Paribas funds buy and sell for EUR 66m

BNP Paribas REIM's asset management arm said that its Estense Grande Distribuzione property investment fund has acquired a retail park located in Camposampiero, Northern Italy, from Doss Spa. The transaction price amounts to around EUR 27 mln.

The asset comprises 24,000 m2 of gross area, consisting of a 11,000 m2 hypermarket, 7,000 m2 of medium-sized retail units, a 2,000 m2 retail gallery with 15 shops, and 900 m2 of office space. The property includes 800 parking spaces.

Under the agreement, Doss Spa has an option to repurchase the asset in 2013, which is the last year the fund is operational.

Additionally, BNP Paribas REIM SGR has also sold the Portali commercial gallery in Modena, Northern Italy for EUR 39 mln. The asset was owned by the French fund manager's BNL Portfolio Immobiliare vehicle.
