Beck named COO at Union Investment Real Estate

Union Investment Real Estate has announced that Heiko Beck is joining the management team of the Hamburg-based property fund manager from 5 September. Beck, whose doctorate is in law, will fill the newly created role of chief operating officer (COO). He will be responsible for financial controlling, accounting, law and taxation, as well as central property management.

His experience in real estate asset management was acquired as a management board member of Commerz Real AG and elsewhere.

The other members of the management team at Union Investment Real Estate are Reinhard Kutscher (Chairman of the management board), Frank Billand, Karl-Joseph Hermanns-Engel and Volker Noack.
