Dutch exhibitors are planning a big splash at Expo Real this year with two group stands: Holland Property Plaza and - for the first time - Amsterdam Mettropolitan Area (AMA). The AMA stand will comprise 15 exhibitors in total, including The City of Almere, Amsterdam Airport Area (AAA), Colliers International and the Port of Amsterdam.
Holland Property Plaza comprises the cities of Rotterdam and Tilburg as well as a number of private-sector players, such as legal and financial services company CMS Derks Star Busmann.
The main objective for participants of both stands is to improve the climate for investment and business establishment in their areas. Amsterdam previously took part twice in Holland Property Plaza but felt the time was ripe for an independent stand. ‘The participants in Amsterdam Metropolitan Area (AMA) want the region to boost its profile internationally,’ says Bob van der Zande of the municipal development agency OGA..
Some Dutch participants with a strong German presence or cross-border activities are linking up with German players this year. Developer OVG Projectontwikkeling, for example, is joining the Berlin stand due to its growth in Germany and the Humboldthafen project in Berlin.
