Alvarez & Marsal boosts European team
Date: 7 February 2012
Category: Appointment
Turnaround specialist Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has strengthened its European real estate advisory capacity with the appointment of Robin Priest as a senior adviser.

Priest brings more than 30 years of experience in real estate and structured finance to his new role. His primary focus at A&M will be on working with the firm’s European real estate clients, deploying his experience to challenging and complex assets, portfolios or businesses. Prior to joining A&M, Priest spent four years with Deloitte LLP as lead partner for real estate corporate finance in London.

Before joining Deloitte in 2005, Priest set up a new property outsourcing business in the UK - Mapeley - in conjunction with Soros Real Estate Partners and Fortress Investment Group. He remains chairman of Property Alliance Group and Alliance Property Asset Management.

Priest’s appointment follows those of Ian Morgan in December last year and Patrick Anderson and Caspar Vredenbregt earlier in 2011. All four senior individuals have significant real estate advisory experience across Europe.
